Frying cheese
Just like halloumi, but made with fresh milk from our cows and with a little less salt than Cypriot halloumi. Slice the cheese and fry over medium-high heat for a crispy crust.
Serving tips and usage:
This cheese isn't as salty as Halloumi, so feel free to fry it in butter or season to taste. Slice the cheese into 0.5-1 cm thick slices and fry. Goes well in salads, for example. Some people use the cheese as an alternative to meat, for example as a burger or bacon for Sunday breakfast.
Approx. 220g per piece, price: 101 NOK
